However, it is still recommended to complete the visa application form online beforehand to reduce processing time and minimize crowds at the visa application centers.
The Chinese embassy in the United States recently announced that it has begun accepting visa applications without prior appointments, with the goal of streamlining the process for foreign visitors intending to travel to China. Under the new system, travelers can simply walk into the embassy or consulate and submit their application materials, along with the required supporting documents.
