The Chinese government has made it easier for Indians to visit China for business, tourism, family visits, transit, and work reasons. The Chinese Embassy in India has officially announced these changes. If you’re applying for a single or double-entry visa for any of these purposes, you won’t have to give your fingerprints until December 31. These new rules will be in place until the end of 2023. Some people were already exempt from this rule, like those under 14 or over 70, people who recently gave their fingerprints, and those for whom fingerprinting is difficult.

The cost of a Chinese visa for Indians varies, starting from Rs 3,800 and going up to Rs 7,800, depending on the type of visa and how long it’s valid. There are also direct communication channels available to help Indians with their visa questions.
