If you’re applying for a single or double-entry visa for any of these purposes, you won’t have to give your fingerprints until December 31. These new rules will be in place until the end of 2023. Some people were already exempt from this rule, like those under 14 or over 70, people who recently gave their fingerprints, and those for whom fingerprinting is difficult.
