According to data from Trip.com, one of China’s largest online travel agencies, there has been a remarkable surge in overseas bookings for trips to China. Comparing the first three months of this year to the same period last year, bookings have increased by 188%. This trend continued during the Easter weekend, with a 146% year-on-year increase in bookings.
The growth in bookings indicates a growing interest among foreign tourists in visiting China, likely driven by the easier visa procedures and enhanced travel experiences.
