Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced on Monday that China has approved visa-free travel for Georgians. As reported by Azernews citing Agenda, Georgians can now visit China for up to 30 days without needing a visa.
“This is an important decision that will make it easier for our people to travel to China, creating new opportunities for closer ties between Georgia and China,” said Kobakhidze during a Government meeting.
He highlighted that the visa-free travel is a significant outcome of the strategic partnership agreement signed between the two countries last year. The Georgian Government had previously declared visa-free travel for Chinese citizens to boost tourism and economic ties.
