It’s not just Chandigarh; all over India, people are applying for visas like crazy. In 2023, it went up by 16% compared to the year before, almost reaching the numbers from 2019.
Indian travelers in 2023 liked going to Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, the UK, and the US.
Vishal Jairath, the head guy at VFS Global, mentioned that many people from India and nearby places really want to travel, so the time when lots of people travel (they call it the peak travel season) is lasting longer.
