This account will be used to submit your visa application online.

Complete the online application form: Fill out the appropriate visa application form based on the type of work visa you have been approved for. Provide accurate and complete information, ensuring it matches the details provided during the approval process.

Attach supporting documents: Upload all the required supporting documents to your online visa application. Make sure the documents are clear, legible, and meet the specified requirements.

Pay the visa application fee: Process the payment for the visa application fee through the online payment system provided by the Department of Home Affairs. The fee amount will depend on the visa subclass and can be paid using a credit card or other accepted methods.

Submit the application: Once you have completed the application form and attached all the necessary documents, submit your visa application through your ImmiAccount. Ensure that all information is accurate and up to date before finalizing the submission.

Track your application: Monitor the progress of your visa application through your ImmiAccount. The Department of Home Affairs will provide updates on the status of your application, and you may be requested to provide additional information or attend an interview if necessary.

Attend health examinations: If required, undergo medical examinations as specified by the Department of Home Affairs. These examinations ensure that you meet the health requirements for the visa.

Await a decision: The processing time for visa applications can vary. Wait for the Department of Home Affairs to assess your application and make a decision. During this time, refrain from making any travel arrangements until you receive a formal visa grant notice.

Receive the visa grant notice: Once your visa application is approved, you will receive a visa grant notice either electronically or as a physical label affixed to your passport. Review the grant notice carefully, noting the visa conditions and the validity period.

Make travel arrangements: With the visa grant notice in hand, you can make necessary travel arrangements to Australia. Book your flights, arrange accommodations, and plan for your arrival in the country

It’s important to note that the above steps provide a general overview of the Australia work visa application process from India. This allows you to work and travel in Australia for up to 12 months.

Graduate Visa: If you have recently completed a qualification in Australia, you may be eligible for a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485). This allows you to work in Australia temporarily to gain skilled work experience.

Business and Investment Visas: If you have significant business or investment experience, you may explore options such as the Business Innovation and Investment visa (subclass 188/888) or the Business Talent visa (subclass 132).

Sponsored Training Programs: Certain industries in Australia offer sponsored training programs for specific occupations. These programs provide opportunities to work and gain experience in Australia.

Partner Visa: If you have a partner who is an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, you may be eligible for a partner visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.

Regional Migration: Some Australian states and territories have specific visa programs to encourage migration to regional areas. These programs may offer additional pathways and incentives for skilled workers.

Temporary Work Visas: Explore options like the Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482) or Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) visa (subclass 400) if you have specific skills or expertise needed by Australian businesses on a temporary basis.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation: If you have an innovative business idea or wish to start a business in Australia, you may explore visas such as the Entrepreneur visa (subclass 188/888) or the Global Talent visa (subclass 858).

It is important to note that each visa category has specific eligibility requirements and application processes.
