Passport Submission

Submission at a Visa Application Centre (VAC):

1. Wait for Passport Request Letter: Only submit your passport if you receive a passport request letter from IRCC. Families should wait for individual letters.

1. Book an Appointment: Effective November 1, 2023, book an appointment for in-person passport submission here.
2. Required Documents:
   • Passport request letter from IRCC
   • Visa Application Centre consent form (one per application)
   • 2 photos (3.5 cm / 4.5 cm for permanent resident applicants)
   • Any other documents mentioned in the IRCC letter
3. Payment: Pay the Package Transmission Service Charge unless submitting to the same VAC where you provided biometrics and haven’t submitted additional documents.
4. Permanent Resident Applicants: Follow specific instructions in the letter. Payment of Package Transmission Service Charge is required.
5. Authorized Representatives: If someone submits on your behalf:
   • Provide original passport and bio page copies
   • Fill out the VFS Global Consent Form
   • Pay the Package Transmission Service Charge
6. Payment Details:
   • Package transmission service charge: $18.58 CAD (1,524.00 BGD)
7. Receipt and Tracking: Receive a receipt with application reference and tracking numbers for online progress tracking.

Submission by Courier:

1. No Courier Submissions: Due to high demand, courier submissions are temporarily unavailable. Schedule an in-person appointment at the Visa Application Centre (VAC).
2. Submission Guidelines:
   • Wait for a passport request letter from IRCC before submitting your passport.
   • Families should wait for individual letters.
   • Pay the Package Transmission charge, unless you submit to the same VAC where you gave biometrics without additional documents.
3. Courier Process:
   • When instructed, use any courier service to send your documents to the designated VAC address.
4. Addresses:
   • Dhaka: 4th Floor, Delta Life Tower, Plot 37, Road 90, North Gulshan Avenue, Gulshan-2, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh
   • Chittagong: World Trade Centre, 5th Floor, 102-103, Agrabad, C/A, Chittagong, Bangladesh
   • Sylhet: 7th Floor, Nirvana Inn, Mirza Jungle Road, Ramerdhigir par, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh
5. Documents Needed:
   • Passport request letter from IRCC
   • Biometrics sticker copy (if applicable)
   • Your contact details (email, phone, return address)
   • Payment confirmation for courier service (if needed)
   • Visa Application Centre consent form (one per application)
   • 2 photos (3.5 cm / 4.5 cm for permanent resident applicants)
   • Other documents mentioned in the IRCC letter
6. Payment and Receipt:
   • Pay the Package Transmission charge. The receipt will have application and tracking numbers for online tracking.
7. For Permanent Residents:
   • Follow instructions in the IRCC letter. Payment for Package Transmission is required.
8. Package Transmission Charge:
   • No charge if submitting to the same VAC without prior additional submissions. Otherwise, pay $18.58 CAD (1,524.00 BGD) per package.
9. Incomplete Packages:
   • Pay outstanding charges within 10 working days to avoid return of incomplete packages.
