Biometric Appointments

Starting November 2, 2018, you must schedule an appointment before going to the Canada Visa Application Centre in Bangladesh for biometric enrolment or passport submission. Check if you need to provide biometrics at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp.

1. Personal Information:
   • VFS Global will collect your personal information for scheduling appointments.
   • Only share necessary information through secure channels; a consent form is required.
2. Emergency Biometric Appointments:
   • Emergency appointments are for specific situations like the death or critical illness of an immediate family member in Canada.
   • Immediate family includes spouse, child, parent, etc.
   • Provide proof of emergency (death certificate, medical letter) during the appointment.
   • Failure to provide proof may be reported to IRCC, which could impact your application review.
   • Emergency appointments don’t affect processing times or outcomes.
   • To schedule an emergency appointment, call VAC Contact Centre or visit in person; online scheduling is not available.
