Tourists in Bali are urged to use the electronic visa-on-arrival (e-VoA) system to speed up the process, alongside the traditional visa on arrival at Bali Airport. Officials are actively promoting e-VoA to minimize queues. At a recent event, officials shared details about the advantages of the system.
The plan is to gradually shift from manual visa on arrival to e-VoA for online payments, improving operational efficiency. Despite the ongoing transition, manual visa on arrival remains an option. The Directorate General of Immigration also plans to introduce electronic immigration checks at Ngurah Rai Airport.
