Student Visas, Temporary Skilled Visas, and Working Holiday Maker Visas Now Being Processed Within Days
Australia has made it faster to get many popular visas, like student and temporary skilled visas. The Australian Department of Home Affairs recently said, “We are improving Australia’s visa systems to make them work better. This is leading to much shorter average times for processing visas in different categories.”
They shared on social media that Student Visas now take about 16 days to process, and Temporary Skilled Shortage 482 visas take around 21 days.
Before, Student Visas used to take up to 49 days at the start of the year.
Also, they’ve made the processing time for the Employer Sponsored Skilled program in healthcare and education, as well as for the Working Holiday visa (for those outside of Australia), just one day.
