Shortage Occupation List

In Argentina, nearly 3 out of 10 jobs facing shortages are in high-skilled occupations. On the other hand, around 34% and 37% of hard-to-fill jobs are found in medium and low-skilled occupations.

The sectors facing the largest occupational shortages in Argentina are Human Health, Social Work activities, and Transportation and Storage. Conversely, the sector with the most intense surplus is Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing.

When companies struggle to find the right people for a job, it’s a sector shortage. If there are more workers than needed in a sector, it’s a surplus. The scale goes from -1 to +1, and the highest value shows the most significant shortage across countries, sectors, and skills.
