Albania and Azerbaijan recently made a deal, signed by the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania. This deal is all about making travel easier for citizens holding regular international passports between the two countries.
The announcement came on Friday, March 1, during a meeting at the X platform. The ambassador of Azerbaijan in Albania, Anar Huseynov, shared info about talks between Besart Kadia, the Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, and the representative from Azerbaijan. They really wanted to strengthen their friendship, especially in the economic area.
In simple terms, they agreed that citizens of Albania and Azerbaijan can now travel between the two countries without needing a visa. This change is good news for people with regular passports, making the process simpler. It’s expected to bring the countries closer together and help them work together more, especially in the economic field.
