A 31-year-old man from Jamnagar, India, named Gaurav Nanda, was cheated of Rs 2.30 lakh (around $3,000) by the owner of an immigration firm in Ahmedabad. Nanda responded to an ad for Kripa Overseas, located on CG Road, Navrangpura, seeking work visas for Poland. The owner, Bhavesh Chauhan, promised to arrange the visas and took Rs 2.30 lakh from Nanda and his friend in installments.

After months of waiting without receiving the promised visas, Nanda confronted Chauhan, who provided vague excuses and caused further delays. It became evident that they had been deceived. Nanda filed a complaint, leading the police to register a case against Chauhan, who is currently missing. The incident highlights the importance of caution and research when dealing with immigration matters, emphasizing the need to choose reputable and licensed agencies.
