Agents Arrested for Fake Visa Racket

Two agents were arrested separately for their involvement in a fake visa scam, as reported by the IGI Delhi Airport Police team. The arrests followed tips from an anonymous source at the IGI Airport Police Station.

The arrested individuals are Sajjan Singh (30) from Tootwala, Abhoar, Fazilka, Punjab, and Sikander Singh (36) from Masanian, Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab. Sajjan Singh arranged a fake Chinese visa for a Malaysian traveler who had overstayed for 1.5 years, while Sikander Singh helped a passenger travel from Jordan to India using a false passport.

These arrests expose a larger network of agents who lure people with promises of easy and cheap international travel but engage them in illegal activities. The agents exploited trust for profit, deceiving passengers with false assurances of managing their overseas trips. Both operated through social media and other platforms to target vulnerable victims.
