A businesswoman named Gloria Osuji has been arrested in Lagos for her alleged involvement in a visa fraud scheme. Osuji is accused of taking N1.5 million from three individuals, assuring them that she could secure visas to Rwanda on their behalf. However, she allegedly failed to deliver on her promise and refused to refund the money.
Facing charges of obtaining money under false pretenses and theft, Osuji denies the allegations and has been granted bail. The case is scheduled for further proceedings on September 28.
